Its been a while since you have heard from me. Closing a business can be tedious and unfortunately, I have had some health issues that have forced shorter hours to the store as well as erratic openings. I am aware that I have inconvenienced some of you and want to formally apologize. I appreciate and respect everyone that walks through my door whether they are a consigner, a shopper or just an interested party. So, please accept my apologies.

The store is starting to look empty compared to just a month ago. I am managing to keep things pretty organized and by the end of next week ALL consigners will have their items ready for pickup as well as any funds we owe you.

KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED:

I do have someone coming to look at the store on Saturday, April 18th. She is a potential buyer. I intend to go above and beyond to help this person should they decide to buy. Its a business I love and I would love to see it flourish. I will keep you informed.

If there is no sale, all fixtures will be for sale beginning next week. Here are a few pictures. Perhaps you saw something in the store that you liked....just ask.

Keep on Coming

We just got in a large order of plus size clothing. A lot of Christopher Banks, some Coldwater Creek and lots of spring colors to choose from.

We are selling right up to the last moment. To tell you the truth, I'm hoping for a miracle and we won't have to go anywhere. As it gets closer, it appears less likely, but please don't forget about me because I fully intend to give it another go when our economy gets better and the bridge is up and running.

There is still a lot to choose from and soon all of the fixtures and racks will be selling as well. So, if you have seen something that you wanted but it wasn't for sale, ask again! Because I plan to open another consignment shop at a later date, everything won't be on sale, but a good portion of it will be.

Thanks to all my faithful customers...you have been terrific and patient and no one appreciates your business more than I.

THE FAB FROG IS CLOSING....

It is with great regret that I must close Leap Frog Consignment Store after just six short months. I have fantastic customers and consigners and I thank each and every one of you for your support. Unfortunately, the economy and the closure of the Green River Bridge has impacted our revenue immensly. With no forseeable relief in the near future, I must close

my doors by April 30th.

All consigners will remain on the racks until I close or until their term is up. All clothes that need to be returned will be done before we close.

I will not be accepting any new consignments, however if you are a consigner who donates at the end of your term, you can bring items in to hang for the remainder of our stay. Typically, the bulk of your clothes sell in the first thirty days, so there is still a chance to make some money.

Having said that....

There is a ton of new clothes out on the racks. There is also a huge 50% off sale on expired clothing. It is my hope to maintain business right up to the day we must close, so please feel free to come in and check things out.

Fixtures will begin to go on sale mid April, but I will assure you the store will stay organized.

Our only requirements are that they be in the condition in which you would purchase them, i.e. clean, free of wrinkles, rips, tears or stains, and quality manufacturers.

NEW FOR THE YEAR:

We are beginning the new year with a new program called: FIND THE GOLDEN HANGER. An item in our store has been placed on the racks on a Golden Hanger. If you find AND purchase the Golden Hanger item, you will receive 25% off the price marked.

We are also beginning our LILLY PAD CLUB CARD. With each cash purchase (store credits do not apply), you will receive one punch per $10. spent. After ten punches, you will receive $10. in store cash! Each card is held on file at the register, so no need to go digging with each purchase. Just sign the back and receive your punches each time.

Hand-crafted items such as the windows above and the LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE Blocks will be offered as well. These will be unique items only and we will not be offering space to crafters. That is where THE PICKET FENCE COMES IN! She is well-equipped to take your crafts and she has just the right clientele for your hand-crafted items. We will limit our crafts to fit our store inventory and theme.

Snow Day!!!!!

Well, I'm not exactly snowed in, but my street was full of ice this morning. Thank you all for understanding the erratic hours of the store lately. I want to be successful, but I think everyone should just stay put for now!

I will open the store tomorrow morning at 10:00 A.M. sharp. No amount of snow can keep me away! I hope you are all staying safe and warm and we'll be back in business tomorrow!

I am not taking consignment until after January 1st. However, if you already have an account established, you may add items to your already existing account. To all the new consigners in waiting, hang on for a couple of weeks and we will get those sold for you.


A large percentage of the store is now TEN PERCENT OFF! Those tags will be marked with a red mark indicating a sale item. There will be signs to guide you while you are shopping.

Our store offers Junior’s, Women’s – Misses, Plus and Petite clothing and we are one of the only consignment shops to offer Men’s clothing as well.
The Men’s section has proven to be successful and we now have a large selection of Shirts, Pants and Coats. Brands in stock are Abercrombie & Fitch, Enyce, Baby Phat, Ecko and more. Sizes range from Medium to XXL. Most are new with tags or near new and in excellent condition. We also carry pants ranging from size 30 to 38 Waist. Our coat selection for Men is growing as well. We currently have a London Fog Trench Coat, fully lined that retails at over $400. Size 46 Tall and priced at $99.00.

We have a large selection of Plus Size clothing that is coming in fast and strong. Working with NorthWest Weight Management will provide the larger sizes for those big and beautiful women out there. A lot of INC brands and some very cool Apple Bottom Jeans (size 18)!
It will also provide a place for those to bring in the sizes they have reduced from and create a networking and exchange program.

Leap Frog Clothing And Consignment Comes to Black Diamond!

When I told my friends I wanted to open a consignment store, they were supportive, but I am sure they thought I was a little crazy. I began grabbing everything I could find that would make my vision of the store become a reality and threw it in the back of this U-Haul and asked my 60-ish year-old retired friend to kindly work her butt off for me so that I can make this a successful business. She happily pitched in and is still helping me get it off the ground.

Leap Frog Clothing and Consignment is simply an honest establishment that offers an option to those of us who buy clothes and either rarely wear them or never wear them and would like to recoup some of the money we spent on them. Although that is the bottom line for consignment.....turn your items over and split the profit with the owner.......it can be so much more than that. It is a meeting place. A network of those in the community who for one reason or another need a resource for selling and buying clothing and accessories without spending a fortune.

My philosophy is to keep my prices simple. Split the profit with my customer fairly and offer a warm and inviting atmosphere with just enough uniqueness (if that's a word) to give us all something to talk about.
